Greg's Guitars offers the vintage collectible solid body 1963 Guild® Thunderbird S-200 for sale from a Private California collection.Serial number 30XXX in beautiful sunburst. Many of these (only approx.150 produced) have headstock issues due to being propped up on the built in "kickstand" guitar stand and falling over, but not this clean original example. This Thunderbird still has the Pat.pend. sticker in the "kickstand cavity, complete with original tuners,pickups,knobs,pickguard,tremelo bar,Hagstrom designed adjustomatic bridge and case. Sunburst finish ,mahogany neck and great figuring on both front and back of body.The original on / off switches for each pickup selection ,phase switch and full bypass"run at full bore" switch are original and function as they should. no solder broken, full T-bird inlay on the headstock and did I mention she absolutely rocks? This is the model guitar that Muddy Waters also played . Get a piece of history with this wonderful example of an American collectible and unique vintage electric guitar ,sure to please,possibly the only one available for sale at the present and will not leave "moth prints" in your wallet,Not unlike the present "BillyBo" copy that is out now.
